What happens when your van breaks down in Chile?

You end up like this guy, with a permanent case of the flats and what appears to be a bullet hole in his side. Chris took this  on the side of the road in Algorrobo, about 90 mins outside of Santiago. Seems this guy had to walk the last little bit to the Pacific.
