With my mother down to visit, Ashley and I decided we should take her to the coast and see what Chile outside of Santiago had to offer. We visited a small and exclusive fishing / vacation village called Zapallar, about two hours northwest of the city. Full of beautiful old vacation mansions and missing the (ugly) condominiums of Vina del Mar, it was a beautiful place to see. The weather started cloudy but turned sunny and beautiful just in time for our visit.
